New wetland pool at the TCC

Another view of the Turtle Conservation Center’s new wetland pool.  The pool is about 7 meters wide and 11 meters long, varying in depth from 80 cm in the deep end to 40 cm in the shallowest portion.  The midsection incorporates a 60 cm basin with 40 cm of “quality” mud substrate.   The island is not for show, but to hold the roof of the cage up!
